Description

One line

A story-rich, dark fantasy roguelike card game: four acts, 65+ foes, your weapon is your deck, and death is permanent.

Short

Grim Hand is a dark fantasy roguelike card game. When the war ends and his forge goes cold, a blacksmith takes up a blade and descends four acts of dungeon for a bounty that could save his family. A free demo, then one purchase unlocks the whole game. No ads, no pay-to-win.

Long

For twenty-five years, Henry forged the blades that won a war. When peace finally came, his services were no longer needed, the forge went cold, and his children went hungry. Then came word of a bounty: the warlord who rules the old dungeon, and a king's purse for his head. So the smith takes up a blade of his own and descends.

Grim Hand plays as a turn-based card game with real tactical depth. Enemies hold front and back ranks, often behind a leader: snipe the back line with a bow, pierce through with a spear, sweep the front with a sword. Your deck is the gear you carry, a weapon paired with a shield, and swapping either changes the whole run. Souls claimed from fallen bosses reshape how you fight. Between battles the dungeon offers branching choices where mercy usually has a price. Death is permanent, runs are procedural, and every fall teaches the dungeon's cruelty a little better.

The tale is told in four fully narrated acts, from torch-lit goblin tunnels to a black wood, each with its own enemies, events, music and mood. It is an ordinary man's story: a desperate bounty and a long descent into the dark, and the deeper you go, the more the story turns.

"Another fool descends into the dark."
